When you have passed you driving test you are then able
to take a Pass Plus course.
This is a short course usually of three 2 hour lessons which
covers a syllabus set out by the Driving Standards Agency
and approved by all the major Insurance Companies.
There is no test but I have to send a form to the DSA
confirming you have reached the required standard.
The course covers six key elements of driving; town, all
weather, night, dual carriageway, rural and motorway.
I will cover all elements of the course although rural and
motorway driving tend to take up most of the available
time as that is where pupils need most help.
As this course is supported by the major Insurance
Companies they will give a discount on your insurance.
Almost every pupil who has taken the course has told me
they saved more on their first year of insurance than they
spent on the course.
The cost of the course is £25 per hour for the 6 hour
course.
